Description
What makes this guitar special: A one-owner guitar that was sold new by Cream City Music back in '13 to our local customer, who rarely played it & kept the guitar in very clean condition. A perfectly shaped neck that's super smooth & very comfortable to play coupled with a pair of dynamite sounding Gibson Alnico humbuckers make this gorgeous Custom one of Gibson's most highly sought-after models. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it's ready to play straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall - very clean with a few minor nicks & dings along with surface scratches.
Neck: One-piece mahogany neck with white binding & black side-dots. Richlite fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Multi-bound headstock with mother of pearl diamond inlays. Grover Rotomatic tulip tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: The body is crafted with a hand-carved maple top, which is fitted to a body made from a solid piece of mahogany with strategically routed holes to lessen the weight of the guitar, resulting in a Les Paul with enhanced acoustic qualities and improved resonance. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge with gold hardware & 5-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 11.4 oz.
Electronics: The pickups are Gibson’s 490R in the neck position (7.55K ohms), which offers the tonal characteristics of the original PAFs, and the 498T in the bridge position (13.34K ohms), which swaps the 490R’s Alnico II magnet for an Alnico V, thus making it slightly hotter with emphasis on mid-ranges and highs. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included with Certificate of Authenticity.
