Description
What makes this guitar special: Modeled after the iconic ‘50s models, the Fender Classic Series provides vintage tone and aesthetics at an affordable, player’s price. This piece is no exception. The vintage-style slightly tapered soft V neck profile is incredibly comfortable, making it an absolute breeze to play. With a professional setup from Cream City Music included, this piece is sure to play like a dream right out of the box.
Cosmetic condition: Fantastic shape- a few surface and playwear scratches, as well as some light pickwear on the guard and a single small chip in the finish on the lower horn. The lacquer finish on the neck is visible on the sides of the frets (as it was from the factory), but this doesn’t impede playability in any way.
Body: Contoured solid alder body in candy apple red finish with single ply white pickguard and string-through six saddle tremolo bridge.
Weight: 7 lb, 10.9 oz
Neck: Slightly tapered Soft-V maple neck with black side dots and black dot inlays. Vintage Kluson-style tuners function perfectly. 1 11/16” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Frets are in great shape with no visible wear. Maple fingerboard is in terrific shape as well. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.
Electronics: Triple vintage-style single coils with staggered pole pieces (Neck-5.76K ohms, Middle-5.61K ohms, Bridge-5.51K ohms), 5-way pickup selector switch, and white skirted knobs, 2x tone, 1x volume.
Case: Original hard shell case included.
