What’s special about this guitar: This is the Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II Jazzbox guitar. Features include a maple body with spruce top, super comfortable “C” shaped neck profile, dual alnico classic humbuckers and beautiful styling. This model features a slightly smaller body than historic archtops but bears many of the same distinctive features of the Broadway model. The sound and playability of this instrument is superb and it can’t be beat for the price!
Condition: Great shape overall! There are a few very light and minor surface scratches, some very small scuffs and a a few tiny dings throughout the entire guitar. Overall the instrument is very clean! The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound hollow body with a spruce top and flame maple back and sides in natural finish. Trapeze tailpiece and a height-adjustable compensated Ebony bridge. Skirted control knobs, dual bound f-holes and a bouns tortoise pickguard.
Neck: Super comfortable and very nicely rounded maple neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid block inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Bound headstock with Grover tuners, 24.75” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Alnico Classic humbuckers in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
