Description
What makes this guitar special? This is a very clean Martin dreadnought with nice tone, easy high-fret access, great sounding electronics and similar playability. All in all, this is a very straight-forward guitar whose tone is rooted in its solid Sitka spruce top and sapele back and sides, a combination that works well with its dreadnought body to produce a robust midrange, great volume ceiling, and a responsive and crisp high end. The built in Fishman electronics system is intuitive, simple to use and has a nice transparent response that doesn’t bury the natural sound of the guitar’s inherent tonality. The body is light but still has decent balance and an upgraded set of ebony bridge pins doesn’t hurt.
