What makes this guitar special: A solid, carved maple top and chambered mahogany body offering tonal depth and richness married to clarity and articulation. The guitar’s glued-in neck is crafted from solid quarter-sawn mahogany and carved to a rounded ’50s profile that is superbly comfortable in the hand. It carries a baked maple fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and a 12-inch radius for easy, choke-free bending. Other period correct details include a 17-degree back-angled headstock for optimum string pressure in the PLEK-cut slots of its Corian nut, and a 1-11/16” width that gives you plenty of room to move around the ’board. Professionally set up by Cream City Music with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sound amazing!
Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition overall - there are various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some light play wear.
Neck: "Studio 50s" Rounded mahogany neck with white side-dots. Baked maple fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Chambered mahogany body with carved maple top finished in satin vintage sunburst. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge. Single-ply cream pickguard is in great shape with some scratches, but no cracks. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 14.3 oz.
Pickups: Uncovered 490R (Alnico II) neck humbucker - 7.58K ohms; Uncovered 498T (Alnico V) bridge humbucker - 13.46K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold 'top hat' knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
