This guitar has the excellent playability and tone that Strats are known for, but with the addition of Roland’s fantastic divided pickup and built-in COSM technology. This electronics system allows players to not only change their tuning between standard, open G, drop D, D modal, baritone, and 12-string, but also models an additional Strat, Tele, humbucking pickups, and 5 different sounding acoustic guitars, providing a vast range of solid tones. When other guitars claim to be versatile, they’re probably not lying, but surely aren’t as versatile as this Stratocaster. If you are a player who likes the feel of Strats but wants a broader range of tones or quick-flip tunings, this is THE guitar for you.
Condition: This Strat is in excellent condition overall. Outside of a few light surface scratches and a random mark or two here or there throughout the body, this guitar is in great shape. It even still has the front ad sticker, pickguard plastic, and plastic over the Roland pickup. The neck is straight, the truss rod functions as it should, and the frets show only a slight bit of wear and thus have a ton of life left in them.
Body: Contoured alder body in Candy Apple Red finish. 3 American Standard Stratocaster single-coil pickups. 3-ply white/black/white pickguard. Vintage-style synchronized tremolo.
Neck: Modern “C” shape maple neck and rosewood fingerboard w/ dot inlays. Medium jumbo frets. Sealed Fender tuning machines. 25.5” scale length.
Electronics: 3 American Standard Strat single-coil pickups plus the Roland divided pickup right next to the bridge. 1 volume and 1 tone control, 5-way pickup selector. Mode knob (Normal non-modeling, modeled strat, modeled tele, modeled humbucking pickups, modeled acoustic guitar (additional 5 settings w/ pickup selector)) Tuning knob (Normal/standard, drop D, open G, D modal, Baritone, 12-string).

Playability/Sound: The comfortable, modern C maple neck will be familiar to many players as well as the excellent playability Strats are known for. What’s new and unique is the Roland modeling system built right into the guitar which has pretty darn convincing settings that model an additional Strat, Tele, Humbucking pickups, as well as 5 different acoustic tones. Through the same system it features 6 different tuning settings all of which are easy to dial in by the simple turn of a mini knob.
