Description
A 2012 Fender EC Twinolux tube combo amp in fantastic cosmetic condition. Fender's collaboration with Eric Clapton, the EC series blends classic tweed-era tone and construction with a few modern tweaks. Based on the low-powered tweed Twin, the Twinolux sweetens the deal with a built in attenuator and an amazing tube-driven tremolo. Perfect for just about any gigging or recording situation. This amp has been cleaned and tested. It is fully functional and sounds great. Includes slip cover and footswitch.
Manufacturer's Description...
In a historic collaboration, Fender’s EC Series amps feature the name and design preferences of the great Eric Clapton. A 40-watt must-have for guitarists who want the ultimate in Clapton amp style and performance, the EC Twinolux is a fascinating variation on the tweed ’57 Twin amp and our answer to Clapton’s call for a special model with several distinctive features. Handmade in the United States with ’50s-era output tube bias tremolo (which produced a more throbbing pulse than later Fender tremolo circuits) and a switchable power attenuator (reduces speaker output and can disable one speaker for even lower output), it presents the pinnacle of Clapton-inspired amp tone for stage and studio alike.
