Description

What makes this guitar special: This is a very clean American Vintage ’62 Jazz Bass and it plays as good as it looks. The pickups in this bass sound great in both positions, and thanks to the concentric control knobs, allow players to individually dial in each pickup and blend their volume and tone together seamlessly. The neck plays as easy as any Jazz with its thin nut width and slightly rounder profile. The finish and pickguard combination are about as classic as they come and help to pay homage to the original after which this bass was designed.

Condition: This Jazz Bass is in excellent condition overall. It does have various small dings, dents, chips, nicks, scuffs, and scratches, but remains very clean for a used instrument. The frets show only light wear if any, and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: Double cutaway offset contoured body in Olympic White finish. 3-ply tortoiseshell pickguard. American Vintage 4-saddle bass bridge with threaded barrel saddles. Lower-mount finger rest. Concentric knurled dome control knobs.

Neck: C shape maple neck and 7.25” radius rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays. 1.5” nut width. 20 vintage-style frets. 34” scale. Vintage-style reverse-wind tuning machines.

Electronics: Vintage Jazz Bass single-coil pickups. Stacked concentric volume and tone controls for each pickup.

Weight: 9 lbs 8 oz

Playability/Sound: The neck on this Jazz Bass is as easy as any with a thin nut and rounder profile that fits perfectly and comfortably in hand. The pickups sound great in both positions and with the concentric control knobs, allow players to seamlessly blend both volume and tone of each pickup individually.

Case: Includes original hardshell case, case candy, and bridge cover.
