Description

What’s special about this guitar: This is a beautiful 50th Anniversary “1962” Sheraton E212TV and features the original early 60s Sheraton profile with a laminated body and period correct binding. It features a 1960s SlimTaper profile neck abalone block and triangle inlays, Grover kidney tuners and a Tremotone vibrato tailpiece. This guitar is fitted with a pair of Gibson USA mini humbuckers so the tone is impeccable. The mini humbuckers offer a beautiful clear sound with a nice, chimey high-end and fantastic bass response. The SlimTaper neck is exceptionally comfortable and makes for effortless playability.

Condition: This guitar is in excellent overall shape. There are just a few light surface scratches throughout the finish and on the pickguard. The protective plastic wrapping is still intact on the pickups! The fingerboard and frets are in excellent shape with hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. The wood tailpiece insert with the “E” logo is included in the case. The pin that holds it on the tailpiece is broken. All electronics and parts are otherwise in perfect working condition.

Body: Semi-hollow double-bound body with maple top, back and sides in cherry finish. Tremotone tremolo tailpiece with a Tune-O-Matic bridge. Skirted control knobs with silver inserts, dual f-holes and a 5-layer bound tortoise-style pickguard with a metal foil “E” logo.

Neck: Super comfortable mahogany 1960s SlimTaper profile neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid and abalone block and triangle inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Bound headstock with a pearloid vine inlay and Grover kidney tuners. 24 ¾” scale length.

Pickups/Electronics: Gibson USA mini humbuckers in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.

Neck: 6.05K Ohms.

Bridge: 6.09K Ohms.

Weight: 8lbs, 1.5oz.

Case: Includes the original hardshell case.
