Description
What makes this guitar special: This is a very nice and straight-forward SG with a killer sound and awesome Classic White finish. The 490R and 498T humbuckers pair excellently with a full-bodied response, and a nice clarity and bite in the bridge position. The neck plays wonderfully, especially since it has been professionally set up by our in-house tech. It has a few love marks here and there, but for a used instrument, it is excellent shape and would suit any player’s style or genre of music.
Condition: The guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does possess some surface scratches in the common playing areas, as well as a few dings, dents, nicks, small chips, and a finish bubble surrounding the A string tuner from being overtightened, but is in great shape for a used instrument. The frets display some extremely light play wear and are still in excellent shape with tons of life left. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions perfectly.
Body: Double cutaway mahogany body in Classic White finish. 4-ply black pickguard. Chrome Tune-o-Matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece. Black top hat knobs with silver inserts.
Neck: Medium C shape mahogany neck (.82” at the 1st fret, .96” at the 12th fret). 22 fret bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays and black side dots. Mother of pearl Gibson logo and flower pot headstock inlays. Kluson Deluxe sealed gear tuning machines with keystone buttons. 1 11/16” nut width. 24.75” scale length.

Weight: 7 lbs. 5.2 oz.
Playability/Sound: The C shape profile to this neck is very comfortable and should feel instantly familiar to a large number of players. The pickups have a very full and chunky response with the bridge position offering a bit more clarity and bite to the sound.
