Description

What makes this guitar special? This is a simple and straight-forward studio with solid tone and a unique finish. The satin Ebony finish creates a good amount of depth visually, especially with streaks and waves of the maple grain underneath creating distinct highlights throughout. The 50s style neck has a bit more size to it, which is perfect for players who enjoy a full-in-hand feel over the more common SlimTaper profiles. The Rhythm Pro in the bridge is fat and full and provides more than enough traditional Les Paul tone, especially with a complementing bridge pickup to add in some more chime and bite. The action is nice and low and the body is clean, making this player look as good as it sounds.

Condition: This Les Paul is in excellent condition overall. It does possess various small dings, dents, chips, and light scratches, but largely remains very clean and still looks and plays great. There is a bit of extra wear on the headstock where the guitar hung in a stand. The frets show only very light wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. Does not include pickguard. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod is functioning.

Body: Single cutaway mahogany body and maple top in Worn Ebony finish. Tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece. Black speed knobs.

Neck: Medium round 50s style mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays. 1 11/16” nut width. Vintage-style tuning machines.

Electronics: Rhythm Pro humbucker in the neck and replaced Gibson USA humbucker in the bridge. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.

Weight: 8 lbs 4.7 oz

Playability/Sound: The satin finish neck is nice and chunky and will be a welcome profile for players who like a more full-in-hand feel. The pickups sound great in all three positions with thick and full response in the neck with some extra bite and crispiness in the bridge.

Case: Includes hardshell case.
