What makes this guitar special? This is easily one of the most versatile Firebirds Gibson has released in recent years. The pickups sound fantastic neck to bridge, and with the extensive combinations available with the 5-way switch, plus the 4 push/pull knobs, give you an incredible range of solid tones. The Ultra Thin neck is extremely easy to move around and with the setup our techs have provided it, plays like butter. In addition, outside of light scratches and a ding or two, this guitar is very clean and it shows. You really can’t go wrong with a slick look and an expansive range of awesome Gibson tones, especially at this price.
Condition: This Firebird Studio Non-Reverse is in excellent condition overall. Outside of some light surface scratches and a ding or two here or there, this guitar is very clean and plays fantastic. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should. The frets show very little wear and still have a lot of life left in them.
Body: Solid, non-reverse mahogany body in Pelham Blue. Chrome Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece. 4-ply white pickguard. Black top hat knobs with silver metal inserts.
Neck: Mahogany neck with Ultra Thin (.800-.850) profile. Baked maple fingerboard with acrylic dot inlays. 1.695” corian nut. Mini Grover Kidney Button chrome tuning machines.
Electronics: Coil-tapped P-90 (Alnico V) pickups in the neck, middle, and bridge. 3 push/pull volume controls, 1 push/pull master tone control. 5-way pickup selector.

Playability/Sound: The P-90 pickups in this guitar sound fantastic and between the 5-way switch and 4 push/pull (coil tap) knobs, there is a huge range of tones you can pull from it. The Ultra Thin neck is a breeze to move around and with the setup our techs have given it, plays that much better.
