Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is essentially a 57 Fender Strat with several generations of customizations to create a guitar with the look and feel of a 57 Strat with the singing sustain and high output of a DiMarzio Tone Zone pickup in the bridge. The features include a thin-skin nitrocellulose finish, one-piece maple neck with a slim-shape V profile, Somarium Cobalt pickups in the neck and middle and a DiMarzio tone zone in the bridge. This guitar offers something for every player!
Condition: This guitar is in very good overall shape! There are some surface scratches, nicks, dings and dents throughout the finish and some heavy buckle rash on the back that has worn through to the bare wood in one area. The fingerboard and frets are in very good shape with only light play wear and some heavier wear towards the lower registers. The neck is nice and straight with super comfortable action and the truss rod functions perfectly. Strap buttons are unoriginal. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured alder body with 57 contours in sunburst finish. Vintage-style bridge with bent steel saddles and a trem arm. Aged white control knobs and a single-ply white pickguard and back cover plate.
Neck: One-piece maple neck with slim-shape V-profile and a skunk stripe down the back. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Vintage-style nickel tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Fender SCN Somarium Cobalt single-coil pickups in the neck and middle and a DiMarzio Tone Zone dual rail humbucker in the bridge. Master volume control, dual tone controls and a 5-way selector switch.
