Description
What makes this guitar special: If you’re looking for a solid playing P-Bass with a bit more range, look no further. This boasts all the benefits of the great American classic Precision, yet comes in a 5-string configuration for those who need a bit more low end. Everything else is identical to the American Standard, barring the wider nut with and a slight change in the neck shape due to it. Otherwise it still boasts timeless P-Bass tone, comes in a fantastic Candy Cola finish, and still looks great overall for a used bass.
Condition: This bass is in very good condition overall, if not better. Outside of normal light scratching from being played, and various small dings, dents, nicks, and scuffs, it is in great shape for a used instrument. The frets show only light wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Double cutaway contoured alder body in Candy Cola finish. 3-ply white pickgaurd. Knurled chrome control knobs. 5-saddle High Mass Vintage bridge with adjustable saddles.
Neck: Modern C shape maple neck and 9.5” radius rosewood fingerboard with black dot inlays. 20 medium jumbo frets. 1.875” nut width. 34” scale. Fender Hipshot open-gear tuning machines with chrome clover keys.
Electronics: American Standard Precision Bass Alnico V split single-coil pickup. 1 x volume, 1 x tone.
Weight: 9 lbs 6.8 oz
Playability/Sound: Even with a bit wider nut, the Modern C neck still plays great top to bottom. The pickups have all the timeless P-Bass tone including the great low end thump, which is further enhanced by a low B string, as well as the nice mid-range punch that’s similarly full of body.
Case: Includes original hardshell case.
