What’s special about this guitar: This is a phenomenal playing 2010 Gibson SG Special in a faded brown finish. Features include a nitrocellulose finish, traditional 50s rounded neck profile, uncovered Gibson 490R and 490T humbuckers and vintage style tuners. This guitar is instantly comfortable and the pickups on this one sound fantastic. They offer plenty of output and natural sustain yet clean up exceptionally well with the volume controls rolled back. This is easily one of Gibson’s better designs within the last several years and is an outstanding guitar for the money!
Condition: Great shape overall! There are various minor surface scratches and small nicks, dings and dents throughout the guitar with some buckle rash throughout the back. Overall the guitar is quite clean however! The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany body in a faded brown nitrocellulose finish. Stop-Bar Tailpiece and Tune-O-Matic bridge. Skirted control knobs and a 4-ply black pickguard.
Neck: Traditional 50s rounded profile mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Gibson Deluxe tuners with ivoroid buttons, 24.75” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Gibson 490R and 490T humbuckers in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 7.51K Ohms.
Bridge: 7.75K Ohms.
