What makes this guitar special: A nicely appointed Sheraton with great resonance courtesy of the mahogany center block, and excellent playability up and down the length of the medium profile D shaped neck. Great shape for a used piece, with only minimal wear, and packaged with its original hard shell case. A great guitar for a player on a budget! Comes professionally setup by our in-house luthier with fresh strings and low action so it plays and sounds terrific.
Cosmetic condition: Excellent shape! A few visible surface and playwear scratches, as well as some pickwear scratching on the guard, some tarnishing on the hardware, and finish cracking at the neck joint.
Body: Double cutaway semi-hollow maple body with mahogany core in natural finish with dual f-holes. Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece and tortoise pickguard with Epiphone “E” decal.
Weight: 8 lb, 5 oz
Neck: Medium profile maple neck with black side dots and mother-of-pearl V-block inlays. Double bound rosewood fingerboard is in terrific shape, and frets show almost no wear whatsoever. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Headstock sports a black overlay with mother-of-pearl plant inlay and gold-sealed tuners work perfectly. Neck is straight and truss rod works fine.
Electronics: Dual Alnico Classic humbuckers (Bridge-8.75K ohms, Neck-8.38K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and vintage-style tophat knobs 2x volume, 2x tone.
Case: Original hard shell case.
