Description
What makes this guitar special: If you’re looking for an inexpensive but great-playing PRS with a bit more edge than a standard SE, this Torero will be a solid fit. It all centers around a pair of hot EMGs that take little energy to put out a ton of chunk and crispy grit in the neck and bridge respectively. A Floyd Rose bridge allows players additional dynamic and stability, which is a perfect match for the overall design. A contoured arm rest and contoured treble-side cutaway increase its overall playability, especially with a comfortable Wide Thin neck that plays perfectly easy from the nut to the upper reaches of the cutaway. Plus, its still in pretty great shape for a used guitar, comes with a PRS hardshell case, and a professional setup to boot.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall, if not better. It does show various nicks, dings, dents, scuffs, and scratches, but a majority are on the back, as the top is still pretty clean with scattered light scratching. The frets show only light wear and still have a ton of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions, but the end adjustment nut is a bit worn down.
Body: Double cutaway mahogany body and bound flame maple veneer top in Red finish. Floyd rose bridge. Dark chrome control knobs.
Neck: Wide thin C shape maple neck and bound ebony fingerboard. Chrome sealed tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale length. .78” deep at the 1st fret and .83” deep at the 12th.
Electronics: EMG 81 in the bridge and EMG 85 in the neck. 1 x volume, 1 x tone control. 3-way pickup selector.
Weight: 7 lbs 13.9 oz
Playability/Sound: The Wide Thin neck plays very easy and should be familiar and comfortable to most players. The EMGs are hot and chunky with more body and low end heft in the neck and crisp bite in the bridge.
Case: Includes PRS hardshell case.
