What makes this guitar special: A really cool player upgraded Melody Maker in a unique Lime Green finish. Obviously, a refin…but it’s a pretty good one! A couple small areas of orange peeling, but for the most part a very well done job. In addition to the lime green paint job, the stock pickups have been replaced with a set of Dimarzio humbuckers, which sound absolutely terrific. Killer tone in a neat little package. This one-of-a-kind player comes professionally setup by the experts at Cream City Music, so it’ll play great right out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Great shape-refinished with changed pickups and pickguard. Beyond that, some light surface scratches throughout the body, a little pickwear on the guard, and a single dent on top of the head stock.
Body: Solid mahogany body refinished in lime green with black pickguard and wraparound stoptail bridge.
Weight: 7 lb, 1 oz
Neck: Nicely rounded medium profile mahogany neck with white side dots and pearl dot inlays. Rosewood fingerboard is in terrific shape and frets show only light wear with a ton of use left in them. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Black headstock overlay with gold Gibson logo. Gibson Deluxe tuners with white tuning buttons. Neck is straight and plays great up and down the length of the fretboard.
Electronics: Dual Dimarzio humbuckers (Neck-9.28K ohms, Bridge-12.78K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and gold tophat knobs, 1x volume, 1x tone.
Case: SKB hard shell case included.
