What makes this guitar special: This is a fantastic Epiphone G-400 with solid-sounding pickups and great playability. The true highlight of this guitar has to be the gold Maestro bridge, which not only adds dynamic tremolo control, but a perfect touch of flash to complement the gold hardware throughout. The Alnico Classics sound great in both positions with a warm and full neck response and a bright crisp bridge with solid chime. In addition, the guitar itself is super clean and shows only minor playwear like light surface scratches, but is otherwise is excellent shape for a used instrument.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It shows only minor dings and dents and light surface scratches, but is otherwise in fantastic condition for a used instrument. The frets show only very light wear if any, and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Double cutaway mahogany body in Ebony finish. Gold Tune-o-matic bridge and Maestro Tremolo tailpiece. Black top hat control knobs with gold inserts.
Neck: SlimTaper mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. Gold vintage-style tuning machines with aged transparent keys. 1 11/16” nut width. 24.75” scale length.
Electronics: Gold-covered Alnico Classic and Classic Plus humbuckers in the neck and bridge respectively. 2 x tone, 2 x volume controls. 3-way pickup selector.
