Description
What makes this guitar special: As versatile as it is comfortable, this Parker Fly Classic covers all bases. Aesthetically, its combination of mahogany and metallic copper give it a very distinct yet warm and natural look, which is suiting considering its tonal response. The neck humbucker is exactly that, full and warm with a slight amount of darkness to give it a little vintage vibe. The bridge humbucker is a bit hotter and brighter, therefore adding great dynamic between the two alone. Add in the fact that it also comes equipped with Fishman piezo transducers in the bridge, and you’ve got a pretty wide range of sounds. The piezos themselves add in nice clarity, and thanks to the pickup system selector, you can use them solo, the humbuckers solo, or blend the two together with the middle position and their individual volume controls. In addition, its slim, contoured body, and super straight carbon neck make it endlessly playable, and it rarely needs any setup work. We’re going to give it a few tweaks for good measure before it heads out, but rest assured it will play beautifully the moment it arrives.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It shows only scratches here and there, a few minor dings, and a few small chips on the edge of the lower bout and headstock, but is otherwise still very clean and still looks fantastic for a used guitar. The frets show almost no wear whatsoever and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and comfortable.

Playability/Sound: Between its light weight, slim and comfortable neck, and slim body, this guitar is marvelously easy to play. The cutaways and body and neck contours provide exceptional playability even up into the 24th fret. The neck humbucker is warm and full and the bridge is a bit hotter and brighter with nice upper mid-range character. The piezos help add a bit of clarity, but sound just as good on their own with great articulation and a slightly more focused response.
Case: Includes original hardshell case.
