Description

What makes this guitar special? This is a limited run SG with a lot of unique qualities. First off, the Metallic Red finish and gold hardware look absolutely dynamite, especially with the sculpted top and back that give this guitar twice the amount of contour and curvature as a standard model. The cream trim rings, switch tip, binding, and rosewood fingerboard add just the right amount of natural color to this bright and shining beast. The pickups sound great in all positions and produce the right amount of chunk and growl to aptly complement the overall aesthetic and theme of this guitar. In addition, this is a very clean piece that would make a distinct addition to anyone’s collection.

Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does have various light scratches and a few dings and dents here and there, but largely remains very clean and still looks fantastic. The frets show only light wear and still have a lot of life left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod is functioning.

Body: Solid mahogany body with sculpted top and back in Metallic Red finish. Gold tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece. Gold top hat knobs. Cream pickup rings.

Neck: 50s rounded mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. 1.695” nut width. Gold Grover keystone tuning machines. Gold SG truss rod cover.

Electronics: Gibson Original Burstbucker Pro 1 in the neck and Burstbucker Pro 2 in the bridge. 1 x volume, 1 x tone control. 3-way pickup selector.

Weight: 6 lbs 11 oz

Playability/Sound: The 50s profile neck is extremely easy to play from the nut to cutaway. The pickups sound fantastic and put out a generous amount of fat and full humbucker tone in the neck with a bit of extra bite and crunch in the bridge.

Case: Includes original hardshell case.
