Description
What makes this guitar special? This is a very straight forward Les Paul with understated style that masks its powerful sound. The pickups have a robust response in both positions with the neck being a bit more round and dark, and the bridge with a bit more bite and sparkle. The dark mahogany body has a very distinct look, especially with a deep rosewood board and black speed knobs, pickguard and pickup rings, but is well-contrasted by medium shades in the pearloid inlays and green tulip keys, and brightness in its chrome hardware. The D shape neck, like the rest of the body, features a satin finish that is incredibly easy to move around and overall provides great body to neck balance in terms of weight.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition if not better. It does possess various small nicks, dings, dents, and scratches, but largely remains very clean and still looks and plays like a champ. There is a small mark on one of the tuning keys as well. The frets only have light wear and still have a ton of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod is functioning.
Body: Single cutaway mahogany body in Natural finish. Chrome tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece. Raised black pickguard. Black speed knobs.
Neck: Medium round D shape mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. 1 11/16” nut width. Vintage-style deluxe tuning machines with green tulip keys.
Electronics: Gibson Rhythm Pro in the neck and Lead Pro in the bridge. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.
Weight: 7 lbs 4.6 oz
Playability/Sound: The satin finish on the neck makes movement very easy with little friction and the D shape profile is easy to work with and will be extra welcomed by players who don’t like a profile that’s too round.
