Description
What makes this guitar special? This is a very clean J Mascis with his signature finish and killer sounding pickups. The most noticeable aspect is the Purple Sparkle finish which includes a matching headstock and appears on few other models, especially with a gold anodized pickguard. The vintage reissue pickups sound fantastic in all three positions, and with the distinct 2x2 volume and tone controls, provide more than enough room to get everything dialed in and sounding great. The adjust-o-matic bridge provides a ton of stability over the vintage-style setup and allows for easy adjustment of each individual saddle yet still has the responsiveness required by its vibrato tailpiece. All in all, this is a super clean and great playing Jazzmaster that will suit Jazzmaster and J Mascis fans alike.
