Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a beautiful 2008 Fender Custom Shop 1956 NOS Stratocaster with phenomenal playability. Features include a 1-piece ash body, beautiful sounding combination of pickups and a fatter flame maple neck and fingerboard with absolutely stunning figuring. The neck pocket on this particular piece has a nice, tight fit resulting in excellent transfer of vibration and sound through the neck and body.
Condition: This Strat is in excellent, near mint condition! There are just a few tiny surface scratches throughout the entire guitar. There is one small filled in screw hole next to the upper strap button but it has been covered up nicely and is barely visible. The fingerboard and frets are in excellent shape with hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with super comfortable action and the truss rod functions perfectly. There are different model Fender pickups in each position but they all sound fantastic together! All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid 1-piece ash body in a gorgeous two-tone sunburst finish. The finish really allows the natural wood grain to show through nicely. Vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge, skirted control knobs and a 3-ply mint green pickguard and single-ply white back cover plate.
Neck: Nicely rounded, highly figured flame maple neck with a skunk stripe down the back. Maple fingerboard, black dot inlays and a 1 5/8” nut. Vintage-style nickel tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Fender 57 Reissue single-coil in the neck, Texas Special single-coil in the middle and a 62 Reissue single-coil in the bridge. Master volume control, dual tone controls and a 5-way selector switch.
