Description
What makes this guitar special: A great sounding artist model, built to Johnson’s specs and sporting a flashy Dakota Red finish and a super comfortable U-shaped neck. This one has a bound fingerboard too, really rare for a Fender, and incredibly smooth. The Eric Johnson signature pickups are some of the most unique Fender makes, with a unique configuration based on a combination of vintage Strat pickups (a ’54 in the neck, a reverse wound ’63 in the neck, and an alnico 5 in the bridge). It’s been professionally setup by our expert in-house luthier, and will arrive ready to play.
Cosmetic condition: Great condition! This one’s barely been played, and it shows…some light pickwear, a few surface scratches and marks from handling, and some really nominal fretwear.
Body: Contoured solid alder body in Dakota Red finish with 3-ply white pickguard and 6-screw tremolo bridge with individually adjustable saddles.
Weight: 7 lb, 11 oz
Neck: U-shaped medium profile maple neck with skunk stripe, black side dots, and pearl dot inlays. Double bound rosewood fingerboard shows no wear, and frets are in marvelous shape with no visible wear. 1 5/8” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Vintage style tuners function perfectly. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.
Electronics: Eric Johnson Signature Stratocaster pickups with 5-way pickup selector switch and white skirted knobs, 2x tone, 1x volume.
Case: Original hard shell case included.
