Description
What makes this guitar special: This is a simple but powerful acoustic with mild appointments and a lot of tonal character. Between its advanced jumbo body, spruce top, and mahogany back and sides, the overall tone has a robust and responsive low end, a rich and vibrant midrange, and a crisp and clear top with excellent chime, all that coalesce to form a pretty formidable volume ceiling. The satin-finish neck plays beautifully with very little friction and a shape a majority of players can appreciate. In addition, the body is very clean and still looks great for a used guitar.
Condition: This Epiphone is in excellent condition overall. It does show various small dings, dents, nicks, finish bubbles, and light surface scratches, but largely remains very clean and still looks, sounds, and plays great. The frets show only very light wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Advanced jumbo body with solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. Multi-ply binding on the top and single-ply binding on the back. Three-ring rosette. Tortoiseshell pickguard. Belly-up rosewood bridge with compensated saddle and white bridge pins with black dots.
Neck: Medium-depth mahogany neck with bound rosewood fingerboard and white dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale length. Vintage-style open-gear Grover tuning machines.
