Description: 2008 Eastman MD515 F-Style Mandolin
Condition: Excellent overall condition! There are a few very light surface scratches throughout the entire instrument. Fingerboard and frets are immaculate. All parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound “scroll” shaped body with solid spruce top and solid flame maple sides and quilted maple back in natural finish. The figuring throughout this instrument is truly stunning! Nickel tailpiece, adjustable Ebony bridge, and dual “F” holes.
Neck: “V’ shaped maple neck with exquisite figuring, bound Ebony fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1 1/8” nut. Nickel open-gear tuners with pearloid buttons, 14” scale length.
Playability/Sound: The fine craftsmanship and solid tone woods used on this mandolin make it a beautiful sounding instrument. The sound is loud, warm and resonates beautifully. The gorgeous figuring adds some nice class to the instrument. The “V’ shaped neck is exceptionally comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
