Description
What makes this guitar special? This is a killer guitar across the board in terms of look, sound, and playability, and perfectly embodies the monstrous tone Brian May is so well-known for. The pickups and electronics are the real highlight of this guitar as its Tri-Sonics output healthy doses of huge and distinct tone, starting with the warm and full neck pickup, into the big yet defined middle pickup, and ending with the bright and crisp bridge. True to the classic Brian May setup, it comes equipped with three on/off pickup switches that allow you to combine the pickups however you see fit, including all three wide open. For extra tonal options, each one is also paired with an in/out phase switch that reverses the polarity and creates a mild form of cancellation, providing an even wider range of sounds. The neck features a 1 ¾” nut and thus a wider fretboard for executing a wide variety of playing styles with more than enough room. A Wilkinson tremolo bridge and Grover locking tuners top it all off, rounding out what is already an outstanding build.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does show various small dings, dents, nicks, light scratches, and a bit of aging in the form of color change on the binding, but is still incredibly clean for a used guitar and still looks fantastic. The frets show almost no wear whatsoever and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod is functioning.

Weight: 7 lbs 4.3 oz
Playability/Sound: The C shape neck is comfortable and easy to move around and the extra wide nut provides a good amount of extra fretboard real estate to execute just about any style of playing. The Tri-Sonic pickups sound absolutely fantastic across the board, individually and combined. The neck is warm and full, the middle is big with more definition, and the bridge is hot and crisp, all of which have strong character. The 3 on/off switches provide a few extra combinations often overlooked by a simple 5-way, and the phase switches can help thin things out or get a bit more unique sound.
