Description

What makes this guitar special: This BFG is absolutely full of personality on all levels from its feel, to its appearance and sound. The carved maple top sports a killer textured look and feel that gains character as it naturally wears, especially when the gold finish wears away into its inherent warm maple color. The back, sides, and neck weather the same, gradually producing an awesome tenured look all around. The P-90 in the neck is surprisingly full for a single-coil, and outputs a perfectly warm response that is perfectly complemented by the bite, chime, and classic jangle of the Burstbucker in the bridge. The 1950s rounded profile gives the neck a great full-in-hand feel from the nut to cutaway, and with its light satin finish, plays very smoothly. The body is light and resonant, the current setup makes it play fantastic, and the controls are intuitive and come with a killswitch for a little extra fun.

Condition: This Les Paul is in very good condition overall. It does possess various nicks, dings, dents, chips, scratches, and other forms of normal wear, but is still in great shape for a used guitar and sounds and plays even better. The frets are only lightly worn and still have a ton of life left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should. The case interior is missing two 3” x 3” lining patches at the head and tail.

Body: Single cutaway body with carved plain maple top and mahogany back in Gold finish. Black Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece. Grooved wooden controls knobs with rubber grip ring.

Neck: 1950s rounded profile mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with white side dots only. Black Grover tuning machines. Faded black headstock. 22 frets. 24 ¾” scale.

Electronics: Gibson P-90 in the neck and Zebra Burstbucker 3 in the bridge. 2 x volume, 1 x tone control. 3-way pickup selector. 1 x killswitch.

Weight: 7 lbs 6.6 oz

Playability/Sound: The rounded 50s profile has a nice and full-in-hand feel, especially compared to many modern profiles. The P-90 in the neck is warm and full, and the Burstbucker in the bridge has great bite and some vintage jangle.

Case: Includes hardshell case.
