Description
What makes this guitar special: This is a great playing and even better-sounding Highway One Strat. It comes loaded with 3 Fender Hot Single-Coil Strat pickups, each of which carries endless amounts of classic tone from the warm and rounded neck to the bright, curling mid-range of the middle positions and into the crisp chime and jangle of the bridge. It also sports a 70s-style headstock and comes with Greasebucket tone circuits so you can roll off the highs without adding in extra low end. All in all, this is still a great playing and great sounding Strat through and through.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does possess various small nicks, dings, scuffs and light surface scratches but is still in pretty great shape for a used guitar that’s nearly 10 years old. The frets show only light wear and still have a lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions perfectly.
Body: Double cutaway contoured alder body in Honey Blonde finish. 3-ply white pickguard. Vintage-style 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge. White top hat control knobs.
Neck: Modern C shape maple neck and 9.5” radius rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays. Sealed chrome tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale. Oversized 70s style headstock. .84” deep at the 1st fret, .88” deep at the 12th fret.
Electronics: Fender Hot single-coil Strat pickups with alnico 3 magnets and reverse-wound reverse polarity middle pickup. 1 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 5-way pickup selector. Greasebucket tone circuit.
Weight: 7 lbs 9.2 oz
Playability/Sound: The modern C neck should be familiar, comfortable, and easy for a wide variety of players. The hot single-coils are aptly titled and have a bright and crisp response in both the middle and bridge, with a bit more warmth, body, and rounded tone in the neck.
Case: Includes hardshell case.
