What makes this guitar special: This Epiphone Les Paul Ultra is a fantastic looking and playing guitar from top to bottom. The Ultra series is Epiphone’s only chambered Les Paul line, meaning that the lighter weight body allows for longer and more comfortable playing sessions. The quilted maple veneer adds a bit of flash to an already great looking and sounding instrument, and thanks to a professional setup from our in-house technician, the guitar plays just as great right out of the case. All around, this is one killer Les Paul that is perfect for any player.
Condition: The Les Paul is in excellent condition overall. It does possess some light surface scratches and a few small dings and dents, but is very clean overall for a used instrument. The frets show some very light playing wear and have tons of life left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Single cutaway, contoured, chambered mahogany body with a carved maple top and a Grade “A” quilted maple veneer in Faded Cherry Sunburst. Gold Tune-o-Matic bridge and Stop bar tailpiece. Amber top hat knobs and white switch tip. Single ply white pickguard with gold mounting hardware.
Neck: Satin Slim taper maple neck (.86” at the 1st fret, .93” at the 12th fret). Bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays and black side dots. 1 5/8” nut width. 24 ¾” scale length. Gold Grover sealed gear tuning machines.
Electronics: Epiphone Alnico Classic and Alnico Classic Plus pickups. 3 way toggle switch. 2 x volume and 2 x tone controls.

Playability/Sound: The satin Slim Taper neck is remarkably quick and incredibly easy and comfortable to hold. Many players should have no problem maneuvering around the fingerboard, and reaching the highest registers is no problem whatsoever thanks to the cutaway. The Alnico Classic pickups provide a nice articulation and bite, while still maintaining a classic humbucker vibe.
