Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is Mike Campbell’s signature guitar from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and it was designed to commemorate the Heartbreaker’s 30th anniversary. This guitar is probably one of the most versatile semi-hollow bodies we’ve seen. The pickups deliver everything from a bright humbucker tone with plenty of definition to an almost Strat-like sound in the middle setting with very vocal-like qualities. The body has a center block that delivers plenty of sustain but the semi hollow design also allows the sound to open up and breath a bit. Features include a semi-hollow body with a spruce top and maple back and sides, vibrato tailpiece, extremely versatile pickups combination and a highly comfortable neck.
Condition: This guitar is in beautiful condition and is super clean! There are a few tiny surface scratches throughout the entire guitar but they are all very faint and almost invisible. The fingerboard and frets are in excellent shape with hardly any play wear. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
