Description
Condition: This is an all-around beautiful instrument. There is one deep scratch on the back, some heavy pick scratches on the pickguard and some light scratches and small dings throughout the instrument. Overall the guitar is quite clean! Fingerboard and frets have light play wear and plenty of life left in them. The neck is very straight and the truss rod functions fine. An active pickup system has been added with a single volume control. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Double bound body with solid Spruce top and Claro Walnut back and sides in natural finish. The top and back are bound with maple. Ebony bridge with a bone saddle, tortoise pickguard and multiple inlaid rings around the sound hole.
Neck: Mahogany neck with ivoroid bound Ebony fingerboard, small dot inlays and a 1 ¾” bone nut. Sealed Larrivee tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Active under-saddle pickup with master volume control and 9-volt battery mounted in a Velcro pouch to the back of the guitar.
Weight: 4lbs, 10.6oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a gorgeous sounding guitar. The spruce top and walnut back and sides produce a very rich sound that offers a very round bottom end, defined midrange and a bright yet even sounding high end. The neck is exceptionally comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
