What makes this guitar special: This is a great anniversary model that takes the tried and true American Standard and adds a nice twist in terms of tone. This model comes loaded with American Vintage ’57 pickups that still carry many of the traditional Stratocaster tones, yet has a slightly smoother response through the middle positions, with a warmer low end and shimmer in the top. Plus, it also comes with the Delta Tone circuit that adds a little extra heat to the bridge and mid-range throughout. Other than that, it is a solid-playing, great-sounding, and classic-looking American Stratocaster.
Condition: This Strat is in very good condition overall. It does possess various nicks, dings, dents, scuffs, chips, and scratches, but is still in great shape for a 10-year-old guitar. The frets show only light wear and still have a considerable amount of life left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod is functioning.
Body: Double cutaway contoured alder body in Sunburst finish. 3-ply white pickguard. White top hat control knobs. Deluxe-style synchronized tremolo bridge.
Neck: Slim to medium C shape maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Fender chrome sealed tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale.
Electronics: Fender American Vintage ’57 Strat single-coil pickups. 1 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 5-way pickup selector.

Playability/Sound: The neck plays as easy as any Strat and plays great at length. The American Vintage pickups sound fantastic and although they take a tiny bit of mid-range edge off all-around, they impart the perfect amount of warmth and vintage vibe that gives this model a bit more character than other American Standards.
