Description
What makes this guitar special: One of the best ’52 reissues you’re likely to get your hands on, this piece has it all: a lightweight ash body with gorgeous figuring and stunning resonance, and a comfortable maple neck that plays as smoothly as you can imagine. Professionally inspected and setup by our in-house luthiers, ready to go out of the case!
Cosmetic condition: Great playing shape with some good honest wear. There are various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, chips, and scuffs present, most notably along the back edge of the body. The pickguard also shows visible pickwear, and there are a couple small chips in the fingerboard on the 2nd fret, along with some nominal fretwear.
Body: Solid ash body in butterscotch blonde finish with single ply black pickguard and string-through bridge with triple brass barrel saddles.
Weight: 7 lb, 3.2 oz
Neck: Nicely rounded vintage tinted solid maple neck with black side dots, black dot inlays, and walnut skunk stripe. 1 11/16” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Maple fingerboard is in great shape overall with just a couple small chips in the 2nd fret. Frets show some light wear, but are in overall great shape with a lot of life left. Vintage style tuners work great. Neck is straight and truss rod is functional.
Electronics: Dual single coil pickups with 3-way pickup selector switch and knurled chrome knobs, 1x tone, 1x volume.
Case: Original hard shell case included, along with Certificate of Authenticity and some of the original case candy: strap, cable, owner’s manual, bridge cover, and sticker.
