Description
What makes this guitar special: Outside of the fact that Vigier is one of the only high-quality French guitar makers out there, this guitar has some series character. For one, its body is made out of figured maple and is coated in a unique finish that accentuates its natural flaming and grain pattern, but also has a bit of a transparent look. Its dark reflective pickguard is similarly distinct and adds to its overall character. Even more unique is its zero-radius fingerboard, which may sound a bit daunting for players to acclimate to, but still plays great at length from the nut to the cutaway with little difference in feel from a standard low-radius board. The HSH pickup combination proves to be quite versatile and covers everything from warm and full to bright and jangly. Plus, it comes with a hardshell case and professional setup so it plays great head to toe.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It does show various nicks, dings, dents, chips, scratches, and other forms of playwear, but is still in great, playable shape. The cutaways show what is likely a bit of sun bleaching that shifted the color of the finish into a much lighter shade. There is a crack in the pickguard between the bridge and volume control as well. The frets show only light wear and still have a considerable amount of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and comfortable. Does not include back plate.
Body: Double cutaway contoured two-piece figured maple body in Charcoal finish. Single-ply dark reflective plexi pickguard. Vigier tremolo bridge with adjustable roller saddles. Chrome knurled dome control knobs.
Neck: Medium depth C shape figured maple neck and flat-radius rosewood fingerboard with medium jumbo frets and dot inlays. Chrome locking tuning machines. 1 5/8” nut width. 24.75” scale.
Electronics: DiMarzio humbuckers in the neck and bridge and DiMarzio single-coil in the middle. 1 x volume, 1 x tone control. 5-way pickup selector.

Playability/Sound: The neck plays as easy as any and even with a zero-radius fingerboard, still feels slim, comfortable, and easy to move around. The neck pickup is warm with a full response, while the 2nd, middle, and 4th positions are a bit more trim with excellent mid to upper range character. The bridge is a bit hotter with decent body to boot.
