What makes this guitar special: This is a versatile bass with great sounding pickups and a handy active EQ that provides an extensive range of tone. The body itself is super comfortable to play with its slim profile and rounded edges to match the feel of the neck. The pickups and controls are really the highlight, as the Bartolinis provide excellent foundational response with both low end and punch in the neck and bridge respectively, yet with the blend and active EQ, can fulfill just about any sonic shape a player could hope for in a bass from classic low end thump to modern up-front punch. The look is relatively simple, as it is mostly mahogany head to toe, outside of the wenge and bubinga neck that is similar in depth and color, but still boasts an honest and natural look that leaves most of the attention to the tone.
Condition: This bass is in very good condition overall. It does have various nicks, dings, dents, scuffs, scratches and other forms of wear, but is still in great shape for a bass that’s over 10 years old. The frets show only light wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rods are functioning as they should.
Body: Double cutaway contoured mahogany body in Brown Mahogany finish. Fixed B106 adjustable bridge. Nickel knurled dome knobs.
Neck: Slim D shape 5-piece wenge and bubinga neck with rosewood fingerboard and abalone oval inlays. Black chrome tuning machines. 2 1/16” nut width. 34” scale.
Electronics: Bartolini MK1-5 pickups in the neck and bridge. Active 3-band EQ with 1 x treble, 1 x middle, 1 x bass control, plus 1 x master volume and 1 x blend control.

Playability/Sound: The slim satin-finish neck plays beautifully top to bottom and even with its extra 6-string width, poses no issues in terms of playability. The Bartolini pickups sound great in both positions even with the active EQ flat, but when it’s engaged, it provides a massive range of tones from thick low end thump to tight and punchy mids up into crisp highs.
