Description
Condition: This is an excellent sounding bass with a great feel and awesome finish! There are various scratches, scuffs, nicks, dings and dents throughout the bass with the most noticeable wear on the back. Fingerboard and frets have hardly any wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with excellent playability and the truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured body in translucent satin red finish. Top-load bridge with four individual saddles, chrome control panel with knurled control knobs and a 3-ply white pickguard.
Neck: Very slender maple neck with skunk stripe down the back. Rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays and a 1.5” nut. Open-gear tuners, 34” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original Fender single-coil pickups in the middle and bridge with dual volume controls and a master tone control.
Middle: 6.77K Ohms.
Bridge: 6.88K Ohms.
Weight: 9lbs, 1.5oz.
Playability/Sound: This Jazz bass offers a classic tone and is exceptionally comfortable to play. The slender neck is ideal for players who prefer a very slim neck profile. Anything from a bright and punchy sound to a warm, mellow tone are available with the pickups.
