What makes this guitar special: Versatile, stylish, and well-designed, this Carvin covers all the bases and undoubtedly makes a solid workhorse. The most notable aspect of the design has to be its combination of active electronics and extensive controls. The pickups sound great inherently, putting out a warm, full sound in the neck, and bright and hot bridge response, but in add in the full range of controls, and they can do just about everything you ask of them. Outside of a standard volume, this guitar also comes loaded with treble, bass, and mix controls to help carve out the dynamic range to the player’s preference. It also includes a phase reverse, bright boost, and coil split switch so they can also trim down to a good range of single-coil tones as well. The body is nicely cut with rounded edges, a perfect contour on the neck heel so even the uppermost frets are easily accessible, and even weighs in just under seven pounds. Finally, it also includes its original hardshell case and we’re throwing in a professional setup so it plays great right out of the case.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does show various nicks, dings, small chips, and light surface scratches, but is still in great shape for a used guitar. The frets show very little wear and still have a ton of playing time left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.

Playability/Sound: The neck on this guitar plays very easily with a slimmer C shape profile and perfectly contoured neck heel. The pickups are full and hot in both positions with the neck having a bit more warmth and body while the bridge boasts great articulation.
