Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall - very clean & in great shape with only a few minor nicks & dings along with mild surface scratches. The guitar has been professionally set up by us with a fresh set of strings & low action, so it plays like it's brand new!
Neck: Wide profile, hard rock maple neck with beautiful ebony fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. 24 frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Brian May silkscreen signature on the headstock. Grover locking tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" nut width with zero fret; 24" scale length. The neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition. The neck is very comfortable & exceptionally easy to play.
Body: Basswood body with 6-ply white/black binding on both the top & back. In an aim to replicate the resonance of the original Red Special, the body features an acoustic chamber in the area above & behind the bridge. Burns London Deluxe tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles & original trem arm; single-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 11 oz.
Pickups: Burns Tri-Sonic single coils combined in series. Bridge - 6.44K ohms; Middle - 6.58K ohms; Neck - 6.36K ohms. Each of the three pickups has its own on/off switch & phase reversal switch. Master volume & tone controls with chrome knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with Certificate of Authenticity, Owner's Manual, Quality Control Sheet & other interesting paperwork.
