Description
Condition: This is a great sounding SG with a very unique look and sound. It features a swamp ash body which makes this a light-weight guitar. There are various scratches, nicks and dings throughout the instrument. Some of the finish has worn down to the bare wood from play wear and there are a few larger scratches throughout the guitar. There is some heavy finish wear on the back of the neck in which the finish has worn down to the bare wood. There are a couple of sticker ghosts running diagonally along the lower bass side bout but these are difficult to see. The pickups and some wiring have been replaced. At least one pot is unoriginal. Control knobs are also unoriginal. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and plenty of life left in them.
Body: Solid swamp ash body in black finish. Black Stop-Bar Tailpiece, Tune-O-Matic bridge, single-ply black pickguard and skirted control knobs with silver inserts. There is some black electrical tape covering a hole on the back cover plate.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with a dark Ebony fingerabord. White dot side markers, a red Voodoo Skull at the 5th fret and a 1 11/16” nut. Sealed Grover tuners, 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Seymour Duncan Humbuckers in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 7.41K Ohms.
Bridge: 13.94K Ohms.
Weight: 8lbs, 1.0oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a great sounding SG thanks to the Swamp Ash body and Seymour Duncan humbuckers. The body makes it very light-weight and therefore highly comfortable to play.
