Description
What makes this guitar special: With a few aesthetic elements changed, this early 2000s American Stratocaster has a few upgrades and visual touches that give it a unique identity. It comes loaded with a set of Noiseless pickups that still output tons of classic Strat tone, yet with a slightly smoother response and a lot less noise. It also comes with Sperzel locking tuners, including a Sperzel D Thing on the E string for quick and easy drop tuning. It also features a roller nut and deluxe-style tremolo bridge, comes with its original hardshell case, plus a professional setup so it plays great right out of the case.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It shows various nicks, dings, dents, chips, scuffs, and scratches, but is still in good shape for a used guitar. Someone also sanded away the treble horn and arm rest contour to give it a worn look, as well as a good amount behind the bridge, but is marginally noticeable unless under direct light. The frets show light wear and still have a considerable amount of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Contoured alder body in Butterscotch finish. Unoriginal 4-ply tortoise pickguard. White top hat control knobs. Deluxe-style 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles. Unoriginal trem plate cover.
Neck: Modern C maple neck and 9.5” radius rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays. Fender sealed chrome tuning machines. 1.650” nut. 21 vintage frets. 25.5” scale.
Electronics: Noiseless Strat pickups in the neck, middle, and bridge. 1 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 5-way pickup selector.
Weight: 7 lbs 15.3 oz
Playability/Sound: The modern C neck plays as easy as any. The pickups carry all the inherent classic Strat tones from the rounded neck to the hyped mid-range of the middle positions and the jangle in the bridge, yet all with a slightly smoother response and considerably less noise.
Case: Includes original hardshell case.
