What makes this guitar special: Handcrafted in the United States using premium tone woods & quality components, this Classic S is an extremely versatile guitar. The tremolo bridge has Fishman transducer pickups in each saddle. The Fishman is passive, but does require a stereo cable to access the acoustic tone. The swamp ash body is light weight yet resonant & the blonde finish with gold hardware give the guitar a cool, classic look. Professionally set up by our luthier with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall & for the most part very clean aside from a couple of chips in the finish at the bottom of the body. One chip is about the size of a pinky fingernail & the other is really more of linear crack in the finish. There are some surface scratches throughout the guitar a few minor dings, but nothing else major besides the chips.
Neck: Hard rock maple neck with beautifully figured African rosewood fingerboard & cream dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Tom Anderson gold tuners are in perfect working condition. Buzz Feiten Tuning System. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Contoured, solid swamp ash body finished in translucent blonde. Gold vintage tremolo power bridge with Fishman saddles. 3-ply white pearloid pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 10 oz. Original trem arm & extra springs are included.
Pickups: Tom Anderson VA1, VA1R & VA2 single coils for vintage voicing. Master volume & tone controls with gold knurled knobs. The tone knob is push/pull for the addition of the bridge pickup in other positions; 5-way selector switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
