Description
What makes this guitar special: A simple yet elegant solidbody electric custom built by luthier Roger Giffin & finished in a beautiful metallic blue. This beautiful guitar is very similar in design to the Epiphone Coronet, with the single P-90 pickup & slim, contoured body. Exceptionally well-crafted with premium components & professionally set up by Cream City Music. The guitar is super resonant & the P-90 kicks out some killer tone!
Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition overall with some small finish chips, nicks & dings. The pickguard shows scratches from strumming & there's some light buckle rash on the back of the body. No cracks, breaks or repairs.
Neck: Mahogany neck with white binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with 3-ply w/b/w strip inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Black fiber headstock veneer with gold Giffin logo. Gotoh tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body with a single-ply, white pickguard. High-quality, wrap-around bridge with adjustable saddles. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 15.9 oz.
Pickup: Dog ear P-90 single coil bridge pickup - 7.41K ohms. Not sure who the pickup manufacturer is. We checked Giffin's website & he uses a variety of makers - Amalfitano, Lindy Fralin & Kent Armstrong to name a few. Master volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
