Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a beautiful sounding example of the now discontinued ES-135. Features include a 2 3/16” semi-hollow body with a Florentine cutaway, center block for better sustain and response, phenomenal sounding humbuckers and a super comfortable, nicely rounded neck profile! This particular one has an excellent acoustic quality. It sounds great acoustic and that quality is amplified very well when it is plugged in.
Condition: Excellent condition overall! There are a few very light surface scratches throughout the entire guitar and a few tiny dings. There is a very light haze throughout the back but this is very minor, hardly noticeable and only cosmetic if anything. Fingerboard and frets are in great shape with hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with super comfortable action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Double bound semi hollow body with maple top, back and sides in translucent wine red finish with a Florentine cutaway. Trapeze tailpiece with a Tune-O-Matic bridge. Speed control knobs, dual f-holes and a 4-ply black pickguard.
Neck: Super comfortable, well-rounded maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Grover tuners, 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original Gibson humbuckers in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
