What makes this guitar special: A rare model that does not come up for sale very often & in superb condition as well. The Model 370/12 electric twelve string, with its distinctive "ringing" sound, epitomizes the quintessential rock sound of the sixties created by Roger McGuinn of the Byrds. This gorgeous guitar employs only premium maple and rosewood, features a carefully carved semi-hollow body, premiere quality keywinds and of course, a third Rickenbacker pickup. Truly these deluxe features, coupled with over 60 years of hand-crafted excellence, encapsulate the essence of the "Rickenbacker Mystique."
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition - very clean with some light play wear.
Neck: Semi-chunky maple neck with white binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl triangle inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Slotted headstock with Schaller tuners in perfect working condition. 1.63" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rods work fine.
Body: Semi-hollow maple body with bound slash hole. There's some light flame figuring in the back & overall the body shows off some pretty variegation throughout. "R" tailpiece with double-notched, six-saddle adjustable bridge. Split-level white pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 15.4 oz.
Pickups: Three vintage-style "toaster top" single coils. Dual volume & tone controls with boost blend; 3-way toggle switch; mono & stereo outputs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Vintage-style hardshell case along with Ric polish cloth, owner's manual & spec sheet.
