Description

What makes this guitar special: A well-built yet inexpensive model, this OM-16GT is a fantastic workhorse with great tonal response and overall playability. Its tone stems from a rich and lively midrange that expends down into a mild, warm, and compressed low end and up into a crisp midrange with excellent ring and chime. Its appointments are simple, but still look sharp, including its gloss top and herringbone rosette. It is super light at just under four pounds and provides excellent playability all around with an easy-playing soft V neck and slim body. It also comes with an upgraded set of open-gear Gotoh tuning machines, adding a bit more stability as well. Plus, its still in great shape for being used, comes with its original hardshell case, and also comes with a professional setup so all you have to do is tune it up and play.

Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It shows only light to mild pick scratching, a small ding here or there, and a few small scuffs, but is otherwise very clean for a used guitar. The frets show only light wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: Double bound OM body with mahogany back and sides and a solid spruce top in Natural gloss finish. Triple ring rosette with herringbone center. Small tortoise teardrop pickguard. Richlite bridge with compensated saddle and white bridge pins with black dots.

Neck: Soft V shape hardwood neck and richlite fingerboard with dot inlays. Unoriginal vintage-style nickel Gotoh open-gear tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale length. .80” deep at the 1st fret.

Weight: 3 lbs 14. 5 oz

Playability/Sound: The soft v neck is wonderfully easy to play and should be an easy adjustment for low oval and c shape players alike. Its sound is centered around a rich and responsive midrange, complete with a warm and nicely compressed low end and a crisp top end with great chime.

Case: Includes original hardshell case.
