What’s special about this guitar: This is the Gretsch G6131MYR Malcom Young II Signature Jet. It is essentially a customized reissue Jet with the right features to make it a reliable and durable rock guitar. Features include a Badass bridge, dual high sensitivity Filter’tron pickups, a beautiful red finish, slender mahogany neck and Malcom Young’s signature on the truss rod cover. The pickups sound excellent and the neck is instantly comfortable!
Condition: Excellent condition overall! There are a few very minor and faint surface scratches throughout the guitar. Overall this piece is super clean! The fingerboard and frets are in fantastic shape with hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Chambered mahogany body with a bound maple top in red finish. Badass wrap-around bridge and Gretsch Arrow control knobs.
Neck: Super comfortable and slender mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard. Neo-classic thumbnail inlays, a zero-fret and a 1 11/16” nut. Bound headstock with sealed Gretsch tuners, 24.6” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Filter’Tron pickups in the neck and bridge with dual volume controls, a master volume control, 3-way tone switch and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 4.01K Ohms.
Bridge: 3.99K Ohms.
