Description
Description: 2001 Gibson Les Paul Standard Electric Guitar in Wine Red Finish
Condition: Very good overall. There is a circular sticker ghost on the top beneath the bridge and a square sticker ghost on the back on the lower bass side bout (see photos). Various surface scratches, pick scratches, nicks, dings, dents and buckle rash throughout the finish. Fingerboard and frets have light play wear and tons of life left in them. Neck pickup is a Gibson pickup but it unoriginal to the guitar. All electronics and parts are otherwise original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany body with bound maple top in wine red finish. Stop-Bar Tailpiece, Tune-O-Matic bridge, speed control knobs and a cream pick guard.
Neck: Mahogany neck with bound rosewood fingerboard, pearloid trapezoid inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Grover tuners, 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Gibson PAF humbucker in the neck and a standard Gibson humbucker in the bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 7.90K Ohms.
Bridge: 13.16K Ohms.
Weight: 9lbs, 11.0oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a great playing Les Paul! The PAF in the neck works well in combination with the humbucker in the bridge to give the player the best of both higher output and moderate output pickups. The neck is exctremely comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
Case: Includes original hardshell case.
