Description: 2001 Fender Stevie Ray Vaughn SRV Signature Stratocaster Electric Guitar
Condition: Very good overall. Various light surface scratches throughout the finish, no major nicks, dings or dents. There are a few extra screw holes on the back compartment cover (see photos). These are not visible when the cover is on. There are also five smaller screw holes in the neck cavity on the body. These holes do not go all the way through the wood and do not affect sound or playability (see photos). Fingerboard and frets have very light play wear and tons of life left in them. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured alder body in 3-tone sunburst finish. 6-saddle American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo bridge with vibrato arm, skirted control knobs and a 3-ply black pickguard with engraved “SRV” logo.
Neck: Thick “oval” shaped maple neck with Pau Ferro fingerboard, white dot inlays and a 1.650” nut. 6-in-line American Vintage tuning keys, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Fender Texas Special Single-Coil Strat pickups in the neck middle and bridge with master volume control, dual tone controls and a 5-way selector switch.
Neck: 5.86K Ohms.
Middle: 6.38K Ohms.
Bridge: 6.59K Ohms.
Weight: 7lbs, 10.0oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a great playing Strat aimed at the Blues musician. The pickups provide a nice fat output with a defined bottom end yet retain all the classic Strat tone we know and love. The oval shaped neck is very comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
Case: Includes original hardshell case with instrument cable, guitar strap, optional strap lock buttons and bridge cover and a collectible Stevie Ray Vaughn card.
